Personality: This is what happens when prodigal intelligence meets megalomania. Ori Yamanaka is heartless and cruel. He values knowledge and power above all else, equating them to the ideal standard. To him, nothing else matters except that virtue, and no amount of means matter when, to him, his ends are justified.

He is the embodiment of Machiavelli's prince. Manipulative from start to finish, he is not above lying and blackmail. He is perfectly capable of appearing and acting as a normal young man when it suits him. To many, that's what he is. His mother isn't even aware that there's anything wrong with him, and that's exactly how he intends it. Every person he meets is a pawn on a board, and each one is a tool he can move to suit his purposes.

He is a curious sort. He craves knowledge, and will greedily learn anything he can. He is especially interested in the sciences behind human anatomy and psyche. Experimentation is one of his greatest pleasures, and his unnerving happiness emerges when he is given the opportunity to test the fragility of the human soul.

Past Profile

History: The Village Hidden in the Leaves became host to a terrible evil on the eve of Yoko Nara giving birth to her child. As the son of a Nara and a Yamanaka, the birth was met with skepticism and excitement from different corners of the two clans, with purists resenting the mixture of the normally friendly clans.

It wasn't long before Ori had his first kill, a friend of his who he'd met at the park days prior. He tortured and maimed the boy mercilessly, lighting a fire within his own soul that he would never be able to extinguish. Two weeks later, he had his sixth birthday. From then, he found ways to experiment with people, exploring the limits to which they could be taken psychologically.
