The Grueling Wastes

Fairly obvious as to its nature from name alone, is a harsh environment that is home to a variety of very hearty and fierce creatures: from man-sized Trapdoor Spiders and Antlions capable of swallowing entire homes within their sinkholes, to nocturnal threats, to ferocious Ken-Kangaroo, only the insane or the equally hearty dare to set foot in this ancient land. Despite the danger lurking around every corner, Iwagakure uses this environment for its bootcamp to train 'grunts,' as well their Genin on occasion.
