Kekkai Genkai Description: The Go’ungan is a powerful genjutsu-based doujutsu which involves the user using their own physical sensations to create highly accurate real-time illusions. The Genin-level Go’ungan allows the user to simply create genjutsu of physical sensation (pain, numbness, nausea, etc.) Strong Chuunin-level users are even able to mimic things like sight and smell along with sensation. Beyond this point, the Shugami sacred texts speak of the legendary final form of the Go’ungan which transcends genjutsu completely and allows the user to inflict real physical damage. However, this technique is so incredibly rare that most clan members in the modern day think it a myth. ALL MEMBERS OF THIS CLAN MUST SPEND ENOUGH POINTS TO HAVE “MASTER” LEVEL IN ENDURANCE BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE.
Kekkai Genkai Speciality Jutsus and Techniques:

Jutsu Name: Go’ungan (互運眼)
Jutsu Appearance:

Whenever the Go’ungan is active, a symbol will be drawn out over the eye in crimson red. With the basic Go’ungan, the crescent and dot impose themselves in the center of the iris, with the star and arrow curving backward over the eye and under. A true user of this technique will have the arrow curled under so far that it’s about a millimeter away from the crescent and circle on the bottom half of the eye.

Jutsu Rank: C
Jutsu Description: While active, the user is able to create touch-based genjutsu in real time based on whatever physical sensations they are experiencing. The genjutsu will vary based on how acute the sensation is being divided into acute and non-acute. Those who attempt to use the Go’ungan and it’s later upgraded variants without at least Master-levels of Endurance WILL DIE. PERIOD.

Jutsu Name: [What it is called?] Bouenkyo Go’ungan (Telescopic Mutual Fate Eye 望遠鏡互運眼)
Jutsu Appearance:

The next level of Go’ungan. While active, the twin crescents and dots will be imposed onto the iris with the circle just above the iris, within the bounds of the schlera. The line and dot on the bottom curl under-and-up to the optic nerve which runs through the dot on the bottom.

Jutsu Description: At this level, Go’ungan Genjutsu can be used to their A-rank levels.

Jutsu Name: Chuubyuu Go’ungan (Entangled Mutual Fate Eye 綢繆互運眼)
Jutsu Appearance:

The large outer triangle is drawn onto the skin outside of the eye, intersecting with the inner symbols and triangles along the sclera and iris. The inner triangle along with the circle and crescent cover the iris, with the line, dots, and crescents curling under and over the eye to appear just above the circle, triangle, and crescent.

Jutsu Description: At this level, Go’ungan Genjutsu can be used at their S-rank levels to become Ninjutsu and affect the material world.

Jutsu Name: Twin Graves Dug (Futago no Haka Hori 双子の墓掘り)
Jutsu Type: Genjutsu/Ninjutsu
Jutsu Rank: C, A, S
Jutsu Description: The user selects a (normally serious) injury they have received and channels the pain output from that wound into the Go’ungan. The user will then focus their gaze on the opponent, casting a genjutsu in which their opponent feels the pain of the wound, scaled to the opponent’s Endurance stat.

At A-rank this jutsu can fully fool the sense and mimic the wound in question, scaled to the opponent’s body. If the opponent isn’t well-versed enough in genjutsu, they can even go into shock depending on the wound’s severity.

At S-Rank this jutsu breaks the barrier of illusion and crosses into the real. The user focuses their gaze on the opponent and forces chakra through the Go’ungan along with their sensations of pain from the desired wound. The Go’ungan will flash brightly for a brief moment before imposing the same wound onto the opponent’s real body. The taxing nature of this jutsu means it can only be used once every two turns.

Jutsu Name: Shared Fate (Kyōyū Unmei 共有運命)
Jutsu Type: Genjutsu/Ninjutsu
Jutsu Rank: C, A, S
Jutsu Description: The user will ingest/inject/intake a narcotic or poison followed immediately by the antidote then focus their gaze on their opponent. The opponent will begin to feel the symptoms brought on by the substance in question through a sensation-based genjutsu, scaled to their Endurance stat. For example, if you took an emetic followed by an antacid an opponent with low endurance would feel an intense urge to throw up. No matter what rank this jutsu is used at, the user can only have one active toxin/narcotic at a time. The user must wait 2 turns before swapping substances

At A-rank, this jutsu no longer requires the user to see their opponents and affects any opponent within 20 feet of them. Alternatively, The user can choose to focus their gaze on their opponent and select a single target to strengthen the genjutsu and treat it as B if that’s even a thing. If used as a single target, the user must wait 3 turns before using it again.

At S-rank, this jutsu breaks the barrier of illusion and crosses into the real. The user focuses their gaze on the opponent and forces chakra through the Go’ungan while taking the desired substance. The symbol on their eye will flash briefly before the opponent’s body is infused with the substance in question and they feel it’s symptoms. Alternatively, the user can weave a genjutsu that affects any opponent within 20 feet of them, but the genjutsu is A-rank level.

Clan History

History: The Shugami Clan originated as Kumogakure's attempt to get their own doujutusu, as it is well known they were obsessed with the doujutsu of other clans such as the Uchiha and Hyuga. After a great deal of trial and error, the first members of the Shugami Clan had their eyes altered to be able to channel a very specific and subtle genjutsu. To this day, when a member of the clean reaches the age of 10 they have the Go'ungan activated through a painful medical procedure.
