A time for war (Earth Bois)
Mon Mar 08, 2021 7:52 am
It had been some time since there had been a gathering of so many significant people in the Earth Empire, however, they had been at peace for too long and the Daimyo had proven to be more cautious than their loving father had wanted. So he sends him Emissary, an unknown to most, to gather the greatest warriors to continue their plans of conquest.
Ahmya stood waiting at the head of the meeting room, a dimly lit stone room furnished fully for the woman's guests as they arrived. A number of chosen menials had been allowed to serve these people as they pleased, bringing through an assortment of refreshments. So far, they had set waiting as the doors finally creak open as they file in. Some, perhaps, would be disappointed that they weren't being hosted by the Shogun himself, but they knew that this woman spoke with his authority in all things. It wouldn't be wise to displease her.

Shun was the first to file in and take a seat, his dark hair having a few flecks of ash still in it from the last mission he had been in. Scanning his gaze across the room, his lips curled into a small smile as he broke the silence. "I'm glad I wasn't late, I rushed over here as fast as I could once I got the news. I was in the middle of, ahhh, judging some heretics, shall we say." Shun licked his lips in a way that couldn't mean anything except arousal before continuing. "I'm pleased to report that they have been sufficiently judged for their crimes, and as an added bonus the scent of their burning flesh was quite exquisite."
Shun brushed ah and through his dark hair, a fleck of ash falling down from his hair onto his nose which he promptly wiped off with a flick of a finger. His eyes then lazily shifted over the Ahmya, the Emperor's Voice and a fellow Regalia such as himself. While it was a tad disappointing that their glorious Shogun wasn't hosting them, it was quite rare for all the Regalia to be gathered in one place like this, let alone all the other top shinobi of the Empire. Whatever their leader wished of them, it was sure to be interesting.

News of the meeting had trickled through the cracks and made it's way to Jitsuko, and she would be damned if she would miss an event like this, a chance to see all the people she truly admired. She would have been one of the first to arrive but the last to enter the chamber the meeting was held in, and as she did her eyes practically glazed over as she realised the Regalia were present.
This was it, a gathering of the greatest people alive, the lynchpins that held order and brought stability to the empire and would one day, the world. Though her heart felt a pang of pain at the lack of the Daimyo himself missing out on such a gathering, she would never voice such a quibble, in fact she dared not to speak in the presence of these people, she wouldn't dare wasted their time.
As the voice of the emperor's Voice prepared to address the group, Jitsuko pressed herself against the wall and out of view, the last thing she desired was to any attention to herself.
