 THE QUINCY APPLICATION Name: Sigurd HedyAlias: N/A Real Age: 24 Phys. Age: 24 Gender: Male Personality: Sigurd is a generally chill, laid back guy who enjoys goofing off, drinking with buddies and just having a good time, living life to the fullest. He doesn't particularly enjoy getting into fights due to the injuries he usually sustains and unlike most of his kind Sigurd doesn't have an innate disdain for hollows, although he does pity them. For Sigurd the cleansing of Hollows is something he generally only does when absolutely required in order to protect someone in the moment, otherwise he views them as the yang of the world, a necessary evil and part of nature - very much more in line with Shinigami thinking. This combined with his quirks as a Quincy tend to get him ostracized by his own kind. That said however if forced into a combat situation Sigurd is calm, collected yet brutal in his execution. His blade doesn't carry the normal malice or hate, for him it's simply a job and nothing more beyond that. For Sigurd he was born with this power and he uses it because if he doesn't who will? But he views his role as a keeper of balance as opposed to a force dedicated to wiping hollows out of existence. CHARACTER APPEARANCE Height: 5'11"Weight: 165 Physical Traits:  BACK-DROP Side Notes: Although Sigurd is a Quincy he has no talent with the bow. Although he can fire powerful shots the same as any other Quincy, he has no sense of accuracy similar to shooting a smooth bore pistol: Where the shots goes are an absolute crap shoot. Because of this he has focused on something that comes much more natural to him, swordsmanship and has spent his Quincy life refining and adjusting Quincy skills to work with his unique style of combat.THE COMBAT INFORMATION General Fighting Style: Sigurd is very atypical of other Quincy in that he prefers close combat above all else. Despite having the powers of Quincy he never had the talent for the bow and instead of giving up the calling he simply adjusted his style. He fights with custom made Seelen Schneider's the size of two handed greatswords using brute strength and speed to tear his enemies down. Beyond that he has shown a mastery of the Ransōtengai technique, using it to augment his movements for surprise attacks, even at the cost of breaking his own body to pull those attacks off, such as forcing his arm to strike behind him by dislocating and breaking it. Sigurd is a relentless berserker who will strike down his foe at any cost.Strengths: Swordplay, Strength, Durability, Ransōtengai Weaknesses: Bow skill, Reiatsu Perception, Blut, Reiryoku Ability Name: Großer Seelenschneider: A custom, two handed version of the normal Quincy Seele Schneider. Although it's too large to be used as an arrow, it more than makes up for it with it's increased power and durability, allowing it to be used for Sigurd's main weapon. Sigurd uses these in place of any normal Seele Schneider. Seelenkäfig: Seelenkäfig is another custom invention of Sigurd, though this time in the form of a Silver tube spell. Seelenkäfig traps Sigurd and anyone within 60 meters around him in prison to force them to fight more in Sigurd's terms by limiting the area. The inside makes it look as if they were in space, fighting amongst nebulas - this can also confuse people on just how large the space really is. The outside however looks like a black box, not entirely unlike Kurohitsugi. Can be broken by a Cero or equivalent strength technique 3 post CD Schwertregen: A version of Licht Regen adopted for swordplay. Instead of loosing hundreds of arrows at once, Sigurd uses that same speed along with assistance from Ransotengai to loose thrusting strikes with his sword resulting in what can look like a wall of piecing light. 2 post CD, Bala Speed WEAPONS & ABILITIES Quincy Bow: A large German styled longbow, about as large as Sigurd himself.Quincy Powers: Hirenkyaku, Ransōtengai, Quincy Items: Großer Seelenschneider x2, Silver tubes x8
