Personality: Some View him as a bitter old man with a focus on professionalism. Others might see him as a cordial man who seemed to strive to get his job done as efficiently as possible. While both of these correct, they leave out that he is a deeply judgemental man who can identify strengths and weaknesses in those he observes. Instead of using this to bring people down, he puts it to use in the academy, driving students hard to bring out their potential and make up for their weaknesses. He feels pride when they succeed, and disappointment in himself should they fail.

He also holds a deep reverence for the past borderline on clinging to it. He fondly and proudly talks of his days in service of warlords vying for control of Japan, with his accomplishments each. He'll often try to pull anecdotes from his experiences commanding troops or battle strategies employed to mixed success. His death is a touchy subject as he very much hates discussing that he was a hollow at one point.

Deep down Hachiman is a very nervous man who lacks confidence in mostly everything , which he compensates for with bravado and chest pounding, along with absurd overconfidence in himself or those he's trained. It isn’t unwarranted as he is a very skilled fighter, though he is still arrogant. His demeanor changes when he fights hollows, something he had once been before becoming a shinigami. He pursues them with an almost vengeful hatred, as if killing all the hollows he can will make up for what he did in his time as one of them.

History: Hachiman served Toyotomi Hideyoshi

and later Ishida Mitsunari as a lieutenant on the battlefield, but was killed in action during the battle of Sekigahara. Like many soldiers who weren't laid to rest, his soul wandered aimlessly, saddened and eventually angered of the state of the battle's end, becoming a hollow along with several others. Preying on hollows that were weaker than him and scavengers that had come to pick through the bodies, he became a sizable threat until shinigami took notice of him and eventually purified him. Since then he has taken an incredibly anti hollow stance, even so far as to secretly hold no ill will towards the Quincy and their ideology.

General Fighting Style:  Prefers either single powerful swings to knock the enemy back, push them away, or knock them off balance, or to use a series of quick blows to confuse opponents or distract them while he things of an actual strategy that he could use instead of whatever he’s doing now. He also tends to wing it while playing it off as a master plan that he has always had. It worked for the most part while he was a living samurai, and so far it’s kept him alive.

Abilities: Raijin's Claw - lighting arcs between the blades, extending out up to 10 ft and acts as an extension of the blade. Can be summoned at a moment's notice, though those with especially keen reiatsu sense can detect the strike before it occurs. Only active for 3 swings, 3 post cooldown, Cero Level per swing

Rending Thunderstorm - Both blades are stabbed into the ground and create a line of lightning that travels along the ground after an enemy. Has a limited ability to track and follow enemy movements, 3 post cooldown Cero Level

Divine Bolt - Sword is held over Hachiman's head, and as long as his opponent is within 50 meters of him, he can summon lightning strikes on their location. 5 lightning strikes at most can be summoned, 2 per post, 3 post cooldown. Half Cero power per bolt

Blade Separation - The blades are separated to allow for faster, though less powerful attacks. 1 post cooldown.

Wind Eater - twin blades are coated in lightning and swung quickly in right succession in a flurry of blows final attack of the combo comes at a different time each time the move is used, and is much stronger than the other strikes, and is meant to knock the opponent off balance if they are countering the strikes. 2 post cooldown.

Ryuzo's Cross - Both swords are held at the side, as if sheathed. Hachiman then lunges forward with high speed and slashes the blades at the opponent in a cross pattern. Creates distortion in local air pressure, causing a small shockwave after the strike. 1 post cooldown.
