Personality: Sumiko is a friendly, fun-loving girl with a compulsive appetite. Her incredible eating habits provide her with considerable gratification and relief, especially during times of stress. Food is often the only thing on her mind when at ease. The euphoric feeling gained from her habit provides an invisible barrier that shields her from the harsh reality of being a shinobi.

She is described as being rather tomboyish and eccentric, but her intuition is sharp, it could be compared to an immaculately forged blade. Sumiko is a wise judge of circumstances and danger, as she'll never lead her allies into undesirable situations. Her intelligence should not be overlooked. Sumiko's strategic mind is often remarked upon, despite her questionable and simple-minded decisions.

Sumiko is very much influenced by the bijuu sealed within her, she's often loud, and has a habit of beating on her chest. She's goofy as well. Her adopted traits make her quite obnoxious, and an unideal leader in team settings.

Her morale fibers are strong, and she's not viewed as evil in the eyes of many. She's not inherently violent either, as Sumiko fails to find pleasure in inflicting pain upon others. She often, and consciously holds herself back which veils her true strength. As a result she's quite apologetic, often seeking forgiveness from her opponents in the rare cases where she gets carried away.

Appearance: Sumiko is a slender female with fair skin, narrow blue eyes, small eyebrows, and a deceptively petite figure. She has bright, vermillion colored hair worn in a style occasionally remarked upon by other characters. Her hair is styled in such a way that leaves frills of hair to veil a smooth forehead, and two separate bundles fall freely just past her upper back. Her hair is held in place by two separate black ornaments adorned in golden trims.

She wears a black poncho-like robe, proudly stamped with the Sarutobi crest, thrown over a red or white eastern qipao. The high collared singular piece is typically embellished in flames, a testament of the Sarutobi's strong loyalty to the will of fire. Her ninja tool patch is located on her left hip, and she wears traditional shinobi sandals.

Sumiko's seal is located on her back. The black seal is the Eight trigram sealing formula, utilized by the Uzumaki Clan.

General Fighting Style: Sumiko is very calculative, possessing a strategic mind, making her highly valuable on the battlefield. But, she suppresses the power within her(sometimes getting carried away.) She uses her overwhelming power in ninjutsu and skills in bukijutsu to her advantage.

Past Profile

History:
-- Sumiko could barely walk when the power of a bijuu was sealed inside of her. This power was given to the Sarutobi clan, entrusting them to safeguard it and mold it's Jinchūriki into an exemplary shinobi. The Sarutobi were amongst the first clans to pledge their allegiance to the then newly formed Konoha, and are well trusted and respected amongst the village. All clan members are firm believers in the will of fire, and as a result the Sarutobi clan produce some of the most loyal and formidable shinobi. A member of their clan would be picked to ensure that the Jinchūriki was to be raised in a strict but caring environment. And lowers the chance of the inheritor becoming a rogue shinobi, thus Sumiko was picked.

-- The Sarutobi clan is renowned for their proficiency with fire release, and thus it's one of the first things Sumiko learned. She trained day in and day out.

-- Naturally, Sumiko's parents were ecstatic that their daughter was the inheritor of the Yonbi bijuu, but they couldn't let that blind them from the dangerous beast sealed within their only child. Techniques to suppress anger were instilled within Sumiko to prevent any deadly transformations.

-- Sumiko graduated in the top percentage of her class, despite her goofy and simple-minded demeanor.
