Personality: Kaishi is a stern and serious leader of the Leaf Village whom embodies the metaphorical will of fire to an almost absurd extent. Throughout his tenure, Kaishi lives up to the Will of Fire by being available for Konoha's villagers and Shinobi during their time of need, making decisions to the betterment of as many people as possible, and providing his wisdom and guidance whenever he can. He has lots of dry wit and will frequently be found making sarcastic comments towards people, but it is almost always meant as being good natured on the whole. Kaishi holds his students and students of the Leaf Village especially dear, even going as far as to train a group of Genin each year as though he were a common Jonin. This is very uncommon throughout the world, but Kaishi takes his duty as a leader to mean that he should be a teacher as well.

Kaishi prefers a more delicate approach to politics and foreign affairs, but will not hesitate to crush anyone who threatens his village. In truth, he hates the fact that so many foreign villages are so dead-set on war, and often confides to those close to him that he prefers these more peaceful times. Even still, he is willing to concede that iron sharpens iron, and his village is more efficient and effective when it's ninja are kept on their toes and are being competitively challenged by other villages. Over-all, Kaishi is a stern and calculated leader and teacher, but many would fault him for his lack of ambition while in control of arguably the strongest village in the Ninja World.
