 The Shinobi Profile General Information Name: Kurai Higure Clan: N/A Alias/Bingo book name: None Yet Age: 13 Gender: Nonbinary Personality: Kurai is rather blunt and straightforward, often telling others what they think no matter what their reaction to the words may be. Despite this bluntness, they are not overly critical of others, being a rather "go with the flow" kind of laidback individual. They prefer to be called by surname with people they don't know, or at least don't know well enough, though they allow friends to call use their given name conversationally. They are also rather observant, being very adept at reading the moods of people as well as their quirks and peculiarities, though not ridiculing or making fun of them for such. Kurai is noticeably calm and collected, being capable of staying level headed even in stressful or dire situations, making them a rather perfect pillar for emotional support when it is needed. They are capable of thinking rationally no matter the circumstance, and will often come up with the best solution to solve a problem after considering all alternatives thoroughly. Their usual expression consists of a blank or bored stare, which makes reading their emotions or mental state difficult for others. While they are often neutral emotionally, Kurai does have a love for practical jokes and mischief of all kinds, and will not refuse a good prank when the opportunity presents itself. They have a habit of tapping their finger against their bottom lip while they are speaking or pondering something, and they also possesses a strange verbal tick wherein they say "kaa" (カー) or "kaa kaa" at the end of sentences. Their skin has a pale tinge about it that is almost like an unnatural glow, their flesh almost glinting in the light as though made of polished porcelain. They have long, thick raven black hair that they often keep tied up in one style or another, though they favor having it in a style that fans out like the wings of a raven. Their eyes are large and round, and shaded a deep crimson shade, with a sort of aged wisdom that one is not used to finding in the young. Despite this they can be described as “doe-y”, taking the uncomfortable edge out of their depth-less gaze, if only a little. Their facial features are delicate, though elegantly crafted, with a slightly upturned nose, hooded eyes and petal-like lips. Kurai is a great fan of kimonos, and this is evident in their choice of attire. They favor clothing that is robe-like in nature, flowing around their form freely, or outfits that feature a kimono in some fashion or another. They have a variety of these garments in different colors, cuts and fabrics, allowing them to wear one at any occasion.
Height: 5' Weight: 98lbs Combat Profile General Fighting Style: Despite how they may look, Kurai is a skilled swordsman, having devoted most of their time since the academy to mastering their use of the sword. Due to their size and stature, or lack thereof, Kurai focuses their use of the blade on blistering speed and impeccable precision. Their preferred method of attack is one that cannot be easily seen, unsheathing their blade for a strike and then resheathing it all in the span of a single breath. Often cutting down their opponent before they even get the chance to mount a counter attack. Due to there being gaps in the efficiency of Kurai's style, such as opponents who can weather their attacks long enough to put up their own offense or those that overpower them with pure brute strength, Kurai has taken to mastering the use of multiple blades in combat. This allows them to attack from multiple angles, catching most people unawares. They use their element minimally, though when it is in play it is often simply to empower their sword strikes.
