Personality: Sophie is an apathetic, troubled late teenager with a negative attitude problem and pessimism. She’s a mixed-race between her mother and her father, and the latter is an American, and the earlier is a Japanese woman. Her family moved from the United States to Japan because her mother wanted to reconnect with her parents. She learned everything about Japan from her mother, and her family has the wealth to help her with anything else missing. As an heiress to one of the top thirty richest families and owners to the Cypher Technological Corporation that’s a multinational corporation. This wealth hasn’t made her happy, and she has enormous trust issues with people who only see her as a pocketbook.

Sophie has bad luck, which causes her to fight with people who have a high morality judgment against her. She fights for her family’s honor because she hates when people come to bitch at her. Also, she would rather stay out of fights than be involved with why her parents dislike when she comes home with bruises and cuts. Obviously, her apathetic nature is why her parents don’t try to listen to her wishes of wanting the Corporation to change for the better. When Sophie was little, she could notice ghosts but didn’t quite understand why or how she could. Still, she has no idea what that all means and is worried, but whatever is happening is terrifying and makes her more depressed than normal.

When Sophie has opened to others, no matter who gets the brunt of herself with her real feelings, they get a sense they had whiplash. Sophie is like a different person, kind, too trusting, naive, gentle, and honest with everyone. She wants people to treat her normally and not on a pedestal since the pressures are too hard for her. Her parents were the reason for all this pressure, and being put on a pedestal is sometimes too much to bear. She would open up to people easier if most of the people she meets are bad apples and usually make her want to fight them.

FIGHTING STYLE

General Fighting Style: Sophie has a single recourse when getting into a fight and that’s finishing it. She usually will never start one, but her frequent bad luck is ever-present causes her to fight. Her preferred method of fighting is hand-to-hand combat, but other times she wields a Scythe. She relies on her agility to avoid fighting as long as possible, but she does have the stamina to at least last in a prolonged fight.

PRIMARY STAGE

Ability Name: Despair Siphon
Description: Sophie is able to siphon people’s dark thoughts, feelings and heal her in the process. Her siphoning is accessible by her emotions and thoughts. She can heal herself up to double cero worth of damage by how long she puts her hands on another person, 1 - 2 Post Cooldown. Contact is required for Despair Siphon.

Ability Name: Encroaching Despair
Description: Sophie creates dark fog or black mist, which is made up of pure darkness. It spreads to at most a 20ft radius. Anyone in the fog or mist can barely see in front of themselves. Sophie can see in the dark fog or black mist since her eyes are glowing brighter than normal. 2-Post Duration with a 2-post cooldown.

Ability Name: Despairing Strikes
Description: Sophie’s hands and feet are covered in despair with dark aspect attributes afflicting them. When Sophie punches or kicks, anyone grants blight on contact that has 1-post duration with a cero worth of damage. 1-Post Cooldown.

Ability Name: Embodiment of Despair
Description: This ability has two uses: an offensive and a defensive.
For Offense, Sophia creates a Scythe made up of her despair, apathetic and depressive thoughts. Her thoughts are primarily the reason for the blade’s size, shape, and durability, which is strong as steel. She uses the Despair Scythe to express her frustrations on anyone acting as if they are on higher moral ground. It grants blight on contact with a 2-post duration that does double cero damage with a 2-post cooldown.

For Defense, Sophia creates a Barrier of Despair that surrounds her in a protective bubble, but it negatively affects her. It can block up to a Double Cero worth of damage before shattering. The barrier has a 2-post cooldown.
