Move the Rock || Gotei Event

In wait of his cue, the soul reaper looked around. He peered from the queuing box while the roar of crowds surged his ears. The brunet winced and curled his fists, all in order to gather strength for his task. Why did I sign up for this… Ank thought to himself in a moment of weakness. Ano had swapped his usual shinigami robe for tight fitting boxer-ish wear, and he felt sweat dotting the back of his neck. The past few nights were of restless training and nerve-racking commotion— all he could think about was the crowds, the eyes on him, and the seemingly impossible task before him.

A sudden prof to his back broke the man away from his thoughts. A few shoved later, he paddled out onto the open arena, fists swinging wildly in order to gain balance. A few dusted steps in, and his sneakers made cartoonishly loud skids. His ears burned from the hot embarassment. “Oh no-“

Ano looked upwards amd swept the stage. There, he could spot the familiar poster-faces of the higher-ups. And there, he could see some acquaintances talking amongst themselves… and there… He look ahead, at the mass of a spiritual entity he would have to move, with only the ounce of spiritual energy he held.
